| Comments | F/Sgt Thomas suffered blackouts on the bombing runs due to hypoxia and was posted to 43 Base N.E. on 18/03/44. From there he transferred into the Army becoming Trooper 14803315 in the Reconnaissance Regiment of the 1st Royal Dragoons. Consequently he wore his RAF wings on his Army uniform. F/Sgt Thomas died in February 1998. |
